Many technologies related to the hand are proposed. I tried to sort them :

• Shape :
  • Geometry the oldest : reading the shape of the hand and fingers
  • Vein vein shape of the hand
• Pressure :
  • Pressure profile
  • Grip : how you grip something
• Electrical impedance :
  • Impedance : associated with a touchscreen
• Gesture :
  • Keystroke : how you type on a keyboard (for instance your password)
  • Tapping : the way you type (like Morse code)
  • Mouse : how you move your mouse
  • Others : remote control, smartphone-swipe, shiver/Neuro-Fingerp Print
• Signature, a specific kind of gesture :
  • Signature : how you write/sign your name
  • Sound : the sound you are making when signing
  • Graphic : graphic password
